Escondida Beach
Fajardo, Puerto Rico

Away from the crowds, the Escondida Beach in Fajardo is perfect for spending a relaxing day in front of the sea. The water is crystal clear and shallow; its extensive shore seems endless, but its not recommended for swimming. Near the shore there is a small reef. To reach this beach you have to park in the facilities of the Seven Seas beach. Walk across the edge of the beach until the camping area ends. You will find a trail (3 feet wide) at left (there are no signs). Follow that trail (1 minute), turn right and then continue until the end (20 minutes). There you will find the beach. This road is surrounded by mangroves. The beach has no facilities. If you bring food, remember to bring a garbage bag too.

Esta es una playa hermosa, pero tiene corrientes submarinas y cuevas profundas fuertes acaba de morir un turista. Por favor no se arriesge. Lea esta noticia que da detalles de la playa.

Hermosa, pero MUY PELIGROSA! NO APTA PARA BANISTAS!! Son muchas las personas que anualmente mueren ahogados por las peligrosas corrientes que tiene esta playa. Eso no sale en la prensa pero en esa playa han muerto ahogadas mas personas de las que uno se imagina! Si usted ama su vida y la de sus seres queridos opte por otra playa para recrearse. Como 7 seas, o el balneario de Luquillo que estan relativamente cerca!

Debe haber gente que oriente sobre el uso de esta playa. Porque una persona que yo conosco por poco muere ahogada porque a cierta hora la marea sube, no se debe promover su uso sin un salvavidas o advertencias.

Estuvbe una hoara perdida, no hay nadie te te guie, no hay letreros que te guien y hay muchas veredas, no hay luz de noche, es facil perderce. No me ude bañar porque creo que no es para eso, solo para mirar. Un salbavidas me indico que si llegaba no entrara porque no er area segura.
