Casa Pueblo
Adjuntas, Puerto Rico
Casa Pueblo is a nonprofit organization located in the town of Adjuntas. Their objective is to defend nature and the people of our island. In the 80s they were highlighted by the opposition to the mining industry; which wanted to take minerals from our mountains while destroying them. If today, you enjoy visiting the mountains of our island, unknowingly have a debt with Casa Pueblo. Also in 1995 the organization acquired the Bosque del Pueblo. If you want to visit the forest you have to coordinate in advance by calling 787-829-4842. We only mention some of their projects, but there are many more. They are open all week from 8 to 3:30. For more information about the organization or if you want to volunteer, we invite you to communicate with them and put your grain in this effort.
