Bayamón Market
Bayamón, Puerto Rico
The Bayamón Market or “El Mercado de Bayamón” is a modern marketplace with air conditioning, a roof garden and eco-friendly structure. It is located on the intersection between the Highway 167 and Highway 2, nearby the “Universidad Metropolitana”(UMET). It has two picturesque stores where you can buy: fruits, vegetables, meats and GOYA ® products. Inside the market there are several kiosks selling: traditional Puerto Rico sweets, spices, cigars, hats, Puerto Rico souvenirs, piraguas (flavored shaved ice) and nutritional supplements. The Market not only sells fruits and vegetables, it also has two restaurants (“Café Doña Ana” and "Ardente"), a flower shop, an ice cream parlor and a little coffee shop. This makes the market an excellent choice for those who are traveling around the island. For your convenience there are bathrooms and free parking.
