Religious Museum Porta Coeli

The Museo de Arte Religioso (museum of religious art) Santo Domingo de Porta Coeli is the most recognized attraction of San Germán. Its origin dates back to 1606-1607 as a convent and school. It is currently registered as a historic landmark on the National Register of Historic Places of the United States. The museum is small and you can see all the exhibitions in 45 minutes. There are paintings, sculptures and religious objects from the 16th to 19th centuries. The entrance cost is $2.00. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 8:30 am to 4:20 pm.
