La Jungla Beach
Guánica, Puerto Rico

Jungle beach is a beautiful beach located in Guánica. To get there you have to pass Playa Santa and continue until the entrance of Urb. Punta Sombrero. To your right you will find a dirt road, it leads to Playa la Jungla. After driving slowly for 10 to 15 minutes, you will arrive at the beach. We recommend a SUV or 4x4, but we saw several small cars parked on the beach. It all depends on how much you love your car. If you want to walk; leave the car at the entrance, and walk about 30 minutes. Once on the beach sores, you will find a paradise, very relax and less crowded than nearby beaches. Is perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, get a suntan, or spend a family day. Like any natural resource of our island, you must be careful with mangroves and always throw trash in the trash cans. This beach is protected by DRNA and often gives preventive visits. If you plan to go and has recently rained, keep that in consideration because the road can be tricky.
