Parque De Bombas

The Parque de Bombas is a museum in commemoration to the service of Ponce's firemen. It’s located at the Plaza de las Delicias in Ponce, in the southern side of Puerto Rico. This old fire station dates from 1883. The museum has two floors. On the first floor you will find old machineries used to fight fire, among them, its famous fire car and several portable water devices. On the second floor you will see equipment used by firemen, and pictures of different colonels and firemen. It is an interesting attraction where you will experience the evolution of the technology to fight fires. It is open from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday - Monday and its entrance is free.
