Grande Beach in Vieques has an extensive coast. It is perfect for those who enjoy a long walk while their feet get wet by the refreshing Caribbean waters. If you walk towards the east you will find Playa Negrita, a peculiar black sand beach. The sand’s color is due to the sediments of a nearby river. It is not recommended for swimming. It does not have restrooms, but the landscape is worth admiring.
