Centro Ceremonial Indígena De Tibes

The Centro Ceremonial Indígena de Tibes is considered one of the most important indigenous archaeological sites of the Caribbean. The place was inhabited by the igneris and pretaínas cultures. The ceremonial center offers the following services: a documentary of the history and the more recent archaeological findings, the museum and the exhibition hall, a guided tour through the botanical garden, the indigenous village (yucayeque) and the archaeological area (bateyes and ceremonial centers) and a souvenirs store. It is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., if Monday is a holyday it will be open and closed Tuesday. Admission costs:
- Child from 5 to 12 - $2
- Adult from 13 to 59 - $3
- Seniors from 60 to 74 - $1.50
- Seniors 75 or more - free
- School groups have special prices
