The Aurora Key or Guilligan Island is part of the Reserva Biósfera de Guánica. This key is five minutes in boat from the coast. The beach that surrounds the key is beautiful and shallow, which makes it perfect for all the family. It is surrounded by mangroves and fish from different species. Snorkeling and kayaking are permitted. There are two channels that have approximately ten feet of depth perfect for swimming. You must be careful with the jelly fish. The island has gazebos, barbecues and restrooms. In the coast there is a restaurant that offers transportation towards the key for $7 roundtrip. The restaurant also delivers food to the island if you ask for it. You can also use your own boat or kayak to arrive at the key.
